HOW-TO’S

MEASURE

YOUR WAIST

Using a piece of measuring tape, hold one end to your belly button, starting at zero. Wrap the measuring tape around your waist until you’re back at your belly button. Where the measuring tape intersects is your waist measurement in inches.

TIE YOUR WAIST BEADS

v1: Hold the waist bead strand against your body & twist the strand around itself, as if you were tying a robe. Hold the postion tight in one hand & cut off the excess beads & string with your other hand. Tie the knot 5-6 times until your waist bead is secure.

v2: Holding the waist bead strand against your body, slide the first bead at both ends to the end of the string. Space out the remaining beads & begin to twist the strand around itself, as if you were tying a robe. Tie the knot 5-6 times until your waist bead is secure. Cut off any excess beads & string.

Waist Bead Tying: Method 1

Use this method if you're not concerned about saving your remaining beads, or if you know the strand will fit.

Waist Bead Tying: Method 2

Use this method if you're not sure how a strand will fit you, or if you want to save your remaining bead to make a bracelet or anklet.
